Open in 1991, the Golf Yasmine is a real championship course. Designed by California golf architect Ronald Fream, it is characteristic of his unique style with vast teeing areas, dramatic bunker shapes and an Imaginative use of water. Modern construction technique have been applied using sand based greens, and a fully automated irrigation system which covers greens, tees, and fairways. An extensive drainage system ensures the course is maintained in the best possible condition all year round.
The course (Par 72), measures 6 162 meters from the back tees with four par 5`s and par 3`s. The prevailing wind means that correct club selection is as important as shot execution.Well positioned jigsaw bunkers, large stepped greens and undulating contours add to the demands required of the golfer. The Yasmine Golf Course is open all year round and open to all. Marshall patrol the course to ensure that etiquette and speed of play is observed.
The Yasmine Golf Course has been ranked as an international course by all professional players who came.The Clubhouse is on the culmination point of the property, overlooking the course, offers a relaxed and informal atmosphere
Drawing first artists like André Gide and Paul Klee, Hammamet has become in the space of half a century a seaside resort of the jet set tourism. The rich Tunisians were also building their summer homes, a sign that does not deceive the beauty of the site.
Despite the thousands of tourists who invade each year, the city has retained a certain charm. Its medina, surrounded by walls, houses souks fabrics and perfumes. The narrow streets and cut flowers are an invitation to a slow vagrancy. If you are here in the spring, the smell of orange flowers will captivate your senses; yet, almost forgetting to visit the villa Sebastian to the west of the city.
